Trip to Ukunda and Mombasa Crusades, Kenya, East AfricaJuly 24th - August 6th, 2008 The Lord showed up powerfully during each service. I arrived in country on the 24th of July (after departing on July 22nd), rested for a couple of hours and then was preaching that evening. Services began on Thursday and ran through Sunday evening, with a Sunday Morning Service (27th) at Pastor Daniels church...his church was filled, over 100 people. They know how to praise the Lord. The crusade in Ukunda saw crowds on two nights at a little over 900 people and well over 1000 on the other two nights. We saw an increase of 65 souls come into the Kingdom of God...Praise You Jesus!!!!! Many were healed during all four nights. Two ladies came to the mic to tell what the Lord did for them. One Lady was having chest pains, but when hands were laid on her, the power of God took all the pain away...she was rejoicing...so was I; the Other Lady was having pain throughout her entire body and after hands were laid on her, the Lord took all the pain away...she also was rejoicing...so was I. This was the first time, according to Pastor Daniel, that Ukunda (pronounced ookoonda) has had a crusade. The people are hungry in Ukunda. The crusade in Mombasa saw crowds between 200-300 each night. We saw an increase of 95 souls come into the Kingdom of God...Praise You Jesus!!!!! Many were healed during the four nights, we are still waiting to hear more results. I ministered on that Sunday Morning Service (August 3rd) in Mombasa at Pastor Daniels Bishops Church (Bishop Josphat Ndumbu), it was full, over 1200 people. That was the largest crowd that I had ever ministered to in one service. I gave a call for anyone in the church to do more for the Kingdom. Just about the entire church raised their hands. It was a wonderful commissioning service. Pastor Daniel had gotten a spot on the radio station in Mombasa, Baracka FM, Baracka meaning "Blessings FM." He said that I was the first U.S. evangelist to preach on that station. Every place that we went to for ministry, Pastor Daniel kept saying, "You have found favor here in Kenya"...again we Praise the Lord! The next day Pastor Daniel ran into a lady who was discouraged and just about to give up. She told him that she heard a preacher on the radio Sunday Morning and was encouraged, she is going back to church, Praise the Lord! This was a powerful time seeing 160 souls come to Christ.
